The Refugee Crisis

The Faith Forum are working to facilitate the settling of Syrian Refugees in Waltham Forest. We have met with and urged our local council to expedite this. The biggest challenge for Local Authorities is the lack of available housing. By offering private rented accommodation to refugees, landlords can make the resettlement of refuges in the UK possible. We are currently working closely with faith communities, Refugees Welcome and Waltham Forest Migrants Action Group to source suitable accommodation.
